Agouti
The currently recognized varieties in the Agouti group are Chestnut Agouti, Opal, Chocolate Agouti, Lynx, Chinchilla, Squirrel, and Chocolate Chinchilla. To be directed to a gallery of photos and specific information on the respective Agouti varieties, click on the photos below.
Standard: The color on the top and sides of the body is to be banded and ticked. Ears are to be laced and to match ticking color. There should be white or tan eye circles, inside of ears, nape of neck, nostrils, underside of jowls, belly, and underside of tail. Belly may or may not have colored undercolor or lap spots.
Faults - Fault for poor ring definition
Disqualification from competition - Disqualify for complete lack of banding.
